ABOUT | Karen Culp
An accomplished commercial, interior design and brand photographer, with over 10 years of experience.
My journey in the creative industry stems from a passion for transforming ideas into beautiful designs and compelling visuals. My love for mid-century modern designs and a clean, minimalistic aesthetic emerged while studying Design at the University of Illinois School of Architecture & Design, where I also earned a Division I Tennis Scholarship.
My past experiences allowed me the privilege of serving as Vice President and Creative Director for SmartFurniture.com for over a decade, representing brands like Herman Miller, Knoll, Steelcase, Blu Dot, and Gus Modern. This role provided me with invaluable insights into brand and product representation.
My passion for cooking (and eating) has led me to work with food, photographing for restaurants across the Southeast and celebrity chefs for the Food Network.
I have had the honor of working with top names in the architecture and design industry. My images have been featured in numerous publications, and my work has taken me to exotic locations, blending my love of travel with my professional pursuits.
